The average temperature during this time is 3 to 7 degrees, so bring your hat and scarf for a nice walk outside. At Family Resort Molenwaard, you can enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities with children during the Christmas holidays.
Fien & Teun winter village at the holiday park during the Christmas holidays
At the Family Resort, you will enjoy a special Christmas holiday full of lights, cosiness and fun activities. During the winter period, a real Fien & Teun winter village is created at the holiday park. This is also open during the Christmas holidays, so children can skate on real ice. There is also an old-Dutch carrousel, Molenwaard in miniature and, from December, a light festival. So you experience a typically Dutch winter during the Christmas holidays at the holiday park, a magical time for the whole family.
For guests staying at Family Resort Molenwaard, use of the skating rink is free. Moreover, you also have free access to Playbarn Molenwaard and Adeventure Farm Molenwaard, where play and learning come together - even in winter!

De kerstvakantie van 2025 loopt vanaf 20 december 2025 tot en met 4 januari 2026. Een periode waarin veel steden in Zuid-Holland omgetoverd worden tot knusse, sfeervolle steden met lampjes en versiering. Gemiddeld is het in deze tijd 3 tot 7 graden, dus neem je muts en sjaal mee om buiten lekker te wandelen. Op Familie Resort Molenwaard kun je genieten van zowel binnen- als buitenactiviteiten met kinderen in de kerstvakantie.
Fien & Teun winterdorp op het vakantiepark in de kerstvakantie

Tijdens de winterperiode wordt er een heus Fien & Teun winterdorp gecreëerd op het vakantiepark.
